Spicy Rueben Meatball Sandwich

Featuring juicy sriracha covered meatballs, spicy sauerkraut and gruyere cheese served inside a pretzel roll, these savory snack-size sandwiches are sure to become a fast favorite with your lunch and dinner crowds. 

Ingredients:

  • Pastrami - 18 Oz.
  • Sriracha 1000 Island - 6 Oz.
  • Gruyere cheese, grated - 6 Oz.
  • Rye Bread - 12 Each
  • Phase, LBA - As needed As needed
  • Sauerkraut prepared, hot, 165F - 12 Oz.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the rolls on half and spread the Phase on both side of the buns and place on the hot flat top to toast to an even golden brown.
  2. Place the sauerkraut 1oz. on the bottom bun. Melt the 1 oz. gruyere cheese on top of the meatballs.
  3. To finish the sandwich drizzle 1/2 oz. of the Sriracha 1000 Island on the top of the meatballs and top the sandwich with the top bun and place a decorative pick through the center of the sandwich.
