Holiday Stuffing Waffle, Turkey and Gravy Sandwich
Inspired by the classic holiday dinner, this open-faced sandwich brings together sliced turkey, tart cranberry sauce and savory gravy and wraps everything up in a stuffing-mixed waffle bun.
Ingredients:
- Turkey base - 1-2 Tbl
- Sliced turkey - 6 Oz.
- Turkey Gravy - 3 Oz.
- Mashed potatoes - 4 Oz.
- Pepper, black - To taste To taste
- Cranberry sauce - 2 Oz.
- Stuffing waffle - 1 Each
- Roux - 4 Tbl
- Turkey Gravy Recipe - -
- Water - 16 Oz.
Preparation:
- Place the stuffing mix in the waffle iron and press until hot and crisp.
- Start building the layers starting with the mashed potatoes and then the turkey slices.
- Place the cranberry sauce on the turkey.
- Drizzle the gravy over the top of the sandwich.
- Place all the Ingredients together except for the roux. Let It all come up to a boil, then add in the roux to make the liquid thick. Stir to avoid lumps. use more roux to make It thicker.
